Dick Bobnick’s Resume
Dick Bobnick graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from the University Of Minnesota, Minneapolis, and, upon graduation already had a great portfolio prepared. Within two months he was hired for his first studio job. With absolutely no previous experience in studio work, methods or terminology, Dick was hired by a major Minneapolis graphics studio to learn production. After a brief six month stint he moved on to another studio as a full time illustrator. Over the next twenty five years he worked at the four leading graphics studios in Minneapolis, the last three as lead illustrator. In 1990, he went on his own, as a freelancer, to pursue the type of work he wanted most, national work in the publishing industry and portraiture. He continues to manage his own new home studio in Burnsville, Minnesota.
