My paintings are representations of feelings and special places that have caught my imagination and stirred strong emotions inside me. They’re about the feeling of how beautiful the landscape around us is or an emotional response to people and circumstance. They mean a lot to me I hope you enjoy them too.

Simon Fairless - Artist Biography

Simon Fairless: Born in 1962 Simon spent most of his working life in the City of London as a Head Hunter. He now lives and works as an artist in Windsor, Berkshire and he has gained a solid reputation for all aspects of his art.

Painting has been his lifelong pursuit and he takes his inspiration from the beauty of the English landscape, the floral form and colour. He paints primarily with acrylic on canvas in a variety of themes and styles including: rich land and seascapes, textured colourful abstract, and stunning popart. Despite declaring himself to have no formal art studies Simon has very quickly established a reputation for his contemporary landscapes and abstract works. He clearly demonstrates a formal awareness of image construction including its composition, colour and textural values. His emotional sense and fun personality are clearly reflected in his works.

His work has recently been published worldwide and is currently in use by IKEA, his original paintings are sold across the world and are becoming highly sought after.

He has held several successful exhibitions in London and North America and his paintings can be seen in selected UK galleries. His work is in great demand by private collectors in the UK, USA and Canada and recent corporate commissions include several blue chip companies in the UK, USA and Far East.
