Gregory Lind Gallery
The art gallery in San Francisco, Gregory Lind Gallery, exhibits work from emerging and mid-career artists working in all types of media. The gallery is not the largest but what it lacks in space it makes up for in design. Each piece of art is individually lit and the white walls and hardwood floors make sure there is little distraction.
The Gregory Lind Gallery usually runs over 10 exhibits per year and is keen to present new and provocative art that presents challenging concepts to the viewer. The gallery has only been running since 2002 but has already built up a reputation of bringing the less well known artist to the fore. At the same time however, it will only take on artists that have true potential to entice the viewer.
You can really tell the gallery looks after its artists by its constant news feeds on what is happening within their career. This in turn means there is quite a lot of press publications around the gallery and the artists represented and you will find them in the likes of San Francisco Bay Guardian, San Francisco Chronicle, Boston Globe and even the New York Times.
You will find work from the following artists: Sarah Bostwick, Chris Corales, Marti Cormand, Randy Dixon, Chris Duncan, Sharon Engelstein, Franklin Evans, Jim Gaylord, Chris Gentile, Jonathan Hammer, Seth Koen, Jake Longstreth, Bob Matthews, Christian Maychack, Mark Mulroney, Aaron Parazette, Mel Prest, Amy Rathbone, Jovi Schnell, Tucker Schwarz, Duane Slick, Barbara Takenaga, Dannielle Tegeder, Donald Traver, Sarah Walker, Will Yackulic, Frank Yamrus
