What happens when a Customer places an order?

You will receive an initial email when a customer first places an order. The email will explain that:

  • a customer has ordered your art, their payment details have been submitted for processing, but they payment has not yet been made;
  • details of the item on order will be provided. At this stage, you must take steps to ensure that the art on order does not also get sold elsewhere;
  • your art will be listed as ‘on order’ on the loveart website, and will not be available for sale.

Once the customer’s credit card has been successfully processed, and payment has been taken, you will receive a second email. This email will:

  • confirm that payment has been taken – in the form of a sales invoice;
  • include a delivery document that you will need to print off and give to the delivery firms courier upon pick up for delivery.
